A fast-growing B2B SaaS business operating in the life sciences space is hiring a Sales Development Representative (SDR) Team Lead to manage and grow a high-performing team. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone with a strong background in B2B sales, who enjoys developing people, building pipeline, and driving performance in a scale-up environment.
You'll lead a team of SDRs, helping to refine outreach strategies, improve output and develop future commercial leaders—while also contributing directly to pipeline and revenue targets. There’s a clear pathway into senior sales leadership for the right person.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading, mentoring, and coaching a team of SDRs to hit individual and team targets
- Running 1:1s, call coaching, and weekly team sessions to support performance and development
- Ensuring fair territory coverage and lead allocation
- Collaborating closely with Marketing and Sales to align on lead quality and strategy
- Personally contributing to pipeline through targeted outbound outreach
- Refining messaging, optimising tools, and helping to shape process improvements
- Becoming a product and market expert within the life sciences SaaS space
What they’re looking for:
- 4+ years of B2B sales experience, with at least 1+ year in a team lead or player-coach capacity
- A confident mentor and motivator with strong outbound sales experience
- Track record of hitting and exceeding pipeline and revenue targets
- Organised, data-driven, and focused on continual optimisation
- Experience in SaaS or complex solution sales preferred
- Passionate about growth, leadership, and building high-performing teams
