Sales Coordinator

We're seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Sales Support Co-ordinator to join our team to provide comprehensive support to a dedicated and successful nationwide Sales Team, managing the sales process from initial enquiry through to conversion into live engineering works and supporting projects through to completion. The role includes coordinating sales administration, maintaining internal systems, preparing technical and commercial documentation, supporting tender submissions, and ensuring effective project handover from Sales to Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide sales support to the Telecoms & IBN Sales department.
  • Manage incoming leads and distribute them within agreed SLAs.
  • Arrange client appointments and support quotation activities.
  • Follow up submitted quotations and maintain customer communications throughout the sales cycle.
  • Maintain CRM and all relevant business management systems.
  • Organise and collate job packs for engineering and delivery teams.
  • Assist with quantity take-offs, technical submissions, tender support and contract preparation.
  • Prepare comprehensive Sales Handover packs containing commercial, technical, program and customer requirements.
  • Coordinate formal project handovers from Sales to Operations, ensuring all stakeholders have the required information for successful delivery.
  • Manage and control variation requests between Sales and Operations, ensuring changes are documented, reviewed, approved and communicated appropriately.
  • Work closely with Head of Department and operational Project Managers to resolve handover queries and support project delivery.
  • Support continuous improvement of sales administration and project handover processes.

Skills & Experience

  • Knowledge of structured cabling, WLAN and low-voltage systems preferred.
  • CAD and Visio experience desirable.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Experience using CRM systems.
  • Professional and customer-focused approach.
  • Flexible approach to travel

Requirements & Dimensions

  • Based at our Harlow office, with some UK travel.
  • Flexibility beyond standard office hours due to travel & events, occasional overnight stays as necessary.
  • A valid UK driving licence held.
  • All roles are subject to 5 years referencing, successful DBS check and Occupational Health assessment.
