SAP Specialist

Role Overview:

We are seeking a hands-on SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and Datasphere Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise analytics solutions within a fast-paced, time- and budget-constrained transformation program. This role is central to enabling actionable insights across Finance, Procurement, HR, and Travel & Expense domains, integrating SAP Datasphere and SAC with Azure Fabric and other enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design & Delivery

• Engage directly with end users and business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements.
• Design and deliver interactive dashboards, reports, and planning models using SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Architect scalable and performant data models and semantic layers in SAP Datasphere.

Integration & Architecture

• Ensure seamless integration with S/4HANA modules (Finance, Ariba, SuccessFactors, Concur) and Azure Fabric.
• Define and implement data pipelines across SAP and non-SAP systems, ensuring data consistency and availability.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with functional leads, data owners, and technical teams to align analytics solutions with business goals.
• Translate complex business needs into technical specifications and solution designs.

Technical Leadership

• Provide hands-on guidance in data ingestion, transformation, and governance within SAP Datasphere.
• Optimize performance, ensure data security, and maintain compliance across analytics platforms.

Program Execution

• Support project planning, estimation, and delivery tracking.
• Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies related to data architecture and analytics delivery.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect in SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP Datasphere.
• Strong understanding of S/4HANA architecture, especially across Finance, Procurement, HCM, and Travel domains.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Fabric, data lakes, and cloud-native integration patterns.
• Expertise in data modeling, semantic layer design, and real-time data integration.
• Demonstrated ability to engage with end users, gather requirements, and deliver impactful reports and dashboards.
• Familiarity with Ariba, SuccessFactors, and Concur data structures and reporting needs.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
• Experience working in agile delivery environments with tight deadlines and budget constraints.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP Certified in SAC and/or Datasphere.
• Experience with Power BI, Azure Synapse, or other BI tools.
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
• Prior experience in large-scale SAP transformation programs.
