Field Account Manager
We are supporting a client in hiring an ambitious and commercially driven Field Sales Executive. This is a remote, client‐facing role suited to a consultative salesperson who excels in building relationships, managing complex sales cycles, and driving new business growth.
The successful candidate will join a high‐performing, collaborative sales team and work with a broad product portfolio across solutions such as HR, payroll, accountancy, and wider business‐critical systems.
The Role
• Remote role with occasional field‐based client meetings
• Territory flexibility across the UK
• Combination of new business development and strategic account growth
• Managing a varied product suite and engaging with stakeholders across multiple functions
• Expected to proactively book and lead sales meetings, preparing and delivering consultative presentations
• Involvement in longer sales cycles, typically ranging from several months to a year, requiring persistence and strong pipeline management
• £4,000 car allowance (must be a driver)
Key Responsibilities
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline with consistent activity levels
• Conduct discovery conversations to understand client needs and position the right solutions
• Deliver professional product demonstrations both virtually and face‐to‐face
• Develop long‐term customer relationships across large and diverse account portfolios
• Consistently work towards monthly and annual sales targets
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, knowledge‐sharing, and commercial focus
Experience Required
• Proven B2B sales experience, ideally involving multi‐product or solution‐based selling
• Strong track record of achieving or exceeding targets
• Able to manage long and complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
• Confident working with technology, systems, and data
• Experience selling into HR, payroll, accountancy, or professional services is highly desirable
• Excellent organisation and time‐management skills, with the ability to handle high‐volume activity
