This is a Field Service Engineer role ideal for someone with a strong electrical background, confident around PLCs, and who enjoys working in a hands-on, customer-facing environment. You'll be joining a tight-knit engineering team that truly looks out for each other with a fair approach to travel and rota scheduling.
Field Service Engineer Nottingham – UK-Wide TravelSalary - 45,000 - 55,000 + Fully Expensed Vehicle + BenefitsFull-Time | Mon–Fri (40–45 hrs/week)Fully expensed company vehicle (with personal use allowed)Generous expense policy.
No clock watching – focus on quality work, not overtime20 days holiday + bank holidays + Christmas shutdown (Christmas shutdown (typically 21/22 Dec – 2/3 Jan)On-call rota with 150/day compensation (Every 6 weeks)Paid team socials and company events3% pension contributionSupportive, long-standing leadership teamGreat company culture — stable, growing, and invested in peopleThe RoleService, repair, and install a range of automated packaging machineryTravel to customer sites across the UK, typically 1 site per dayCollaborate with in-house engineers and customers to resolve faultsPerform routine preventative maintenance and technical upgradesOvernight stays approx. 2 nights/week, all expenses fully coveredEvery 6th week on-call, paid 150/dayRequirements Strong electrical maintenance skillsConfident with PLC fault findingAble to read electrical schematics and diagnose technical issuesProactive, professional and able to work independently on-siteA genuine team player who values customer satisfactionWhy Join?
