Systems Accountant

Job Description

SF Partners are seeking an experienced Systems Accountant to support a key project, specifically the migration to Agresso/Unit4 Cloud. This is a critical role working at the intersection of finance and IT, ensuring a smooth transition while maintaining data integrity, system functionality, and business continuity.This is a 6-month contract.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support the migration from Agresso on-premise to Agresso/Unit4 CloudDesign, build, and optimise financial reportsSet up and maintain reporting structures, including trees and hierarchies (e.g. cost centres, departments, chart of accounts)Ensure reporting outputs align with business requirements and statutory reporting needsWork with stakeholders to refine reporting capabilities and improve data visibilityAct as the bridge between Finance and IT teams throughout the project lifecycleReview and optimise existing finance system processes and workflowsEnsure accurate data migration, reconciliation, and validationSupport system configuration, testing (UAT), and deployment phasesIdentify and resolve system issues and discrepanciesDeliver user training and provide post-implementation supportMaintain documentation of processes, controls, and system changesKey RequirementsProven experience as a Systems Accountant or Finance Systems SpecialistStrong hands-on experience with AgressoSolid understanding of finance processes (GL, AP, AR, reporting)Experience in data migration, system testing, and implementationStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesAdvanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilityTPBN1_UKTJ
