- Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum
A leading organisation based in Birmingham is seeking an experienced and proactive IT Business Analyst to join its digital transformation team. This hybrid role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver meaningful change across a large, complex public sector environment.
We're looking for someone who is passionate about using technology and data to improve services, streamline operations and deliver tangible outcomes for stakeholders. If you're a problem solver, collaborator and strong communicator who enjoys working across a range of projects with recent BA experience, this could be the role for you.
What You'll Be Doing:
You'll join a dedicated Business Analysis Practice and help drive the design, development, and delivery of improved digital and automated services. Working across a broad organisational landscape, you'll gather and analyse requirements, identify improvement opportunities, and help shape solutions that enhance performance and efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working with stakeholders to define and document business requirements
- Supporting the delivery of automation and service improvement initiatives
- Applying analysis techniques such as user journeys, personas, and stakeholder mapping
- Contributing to projects delivered through Agile, Waterfall, or blended methodologies
- Identifying benefits, risks, and potential impacts to support decision-making
- Encouraging innovation and promoting best practices in service design and delivery
We're looking for someone with:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
- An analytical mindset with the ability to think strategically and solve problems
- Experience working in or with complex organisations
- Confidence in handling both qualitative and quantitative data
- Knowledge of delivery approaches such as Agile and Waterfall
