Director of Software Engineering

Director of Software Engineering (Hybrid) £140,000 + Bonus. Hybrid Working - 3 Days in Office / 2 Days Remote. London Based. We are looking for a Director of Software Engineering to lead and grow a team of up to 30 Java engineers responsible for a large-scale, distributed financial platform used across multiple regions. The role has accountability for delivery, team performance, and the evolution of a legacy estate toward a modern, cloud-based, event-driven architecture.Responsibilities

• Proven experience leading and scaling engineering teams of around 30 developers
• Strong Java engineering background with experience in distributed systems
• Demonstrated ownership of complex, multi-team platform delivery and modernisation initiatives
