Network Engineer Global Financial Platform London, Hybrid

Network Engineer Global Financial Platform London, Hybrid

Be trusted to shape, build, and evolve a global network, not just maintain it.

Our client is a global, modern, tech-focused financial platform with offices across London, the US, and EMEA.

They're expanding their infrastructure team and looking for a Network & Voice Engineer who wants to take real ownership; designing, improving, and supporting a fast-moving, hybrid Cisco environment that underpins global operations.

If you've worked in financial, legal or professional services and want a role where your ideas get implemented (not lost in layers of sign-off), this could be your next big step.

The Role

You'll join a collaborative infrastructure team supporting business-critical systems across trading, investment, and corporate environments.

This is a hands-on role where you'll work on design, implementation, and optimisation, from on-prem networking to Azure cloud connectivity and global voice systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and enhance a secure, scalable Cisco-driven network (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi, VPN, firewalls, routing, switching).
  • Support and develop voice and video systems (Cisco, Zoom, Teams) used across global offices.
  • Partner with systems and cloud engineers to refine hybrid on-prem + Azure environments.
  • Troubleshoot and optimise network performance, driving uptime and stability.
  • Contribute to global projects, from new site builds to modernising the firm's network backbone.
