The Technology Programme Manager is accountable for the end-to-end planning, coordination and execution of Oracle Fusion technology deployments, operating across multiple delivery waves within a fast-moving, highly interdependent transformation programme.
The role acts as the primary orchestration point between the system integrator, internal technology teams, business stakeholders and change functions, ensuring that each deployment wave is delivered in a controlled, ready and business-acceptable manner.
Operating at the intersection of technology delivery, business readiness and programme governance, the role ensures that deployment plans are realistic, risks are actively managed, and go-live decisions are based on evidence-led readiness assessments.
This role will have direct accountability for oversight of the System Integration delivery partner for Oracle Fusion.

Wave Deployment Planning & Delivery
- Lead the creation, maintenance and execution of deployment plans for each Oracle Fusion wave, aligned with SI technical plans and programme milestones.
- Define and manage scope, milestones, dependencies and acceptance criteria, maintaining visibility of upcoming releases, cutovers and stabilisation.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate delivery activities across technology teams, business process owners and change/training/communications functions.
- Act as the integration point across streams, ensuring alignment between technical and organisational readiness.
Delivery Gates & Third-Party Coordination
- Work with suppliers, partners and assurance functions to manage progression through delivery and release gates.
- Define, evidence and ensure completion of clear entry/exit criteria, supporting quality, assurance and risk activities.
Risk, Issue & Challenge Management
- Identify, manage and escalate delivery risks, issues and dependencies, providing clear options and recommendations.
- Balance pace with stability and quality expectations appropriate for a regulated utility environment.
Readiness, Tracking & Reporting
- Track progress across all contributing teams and provide accurate, decision-focused reporting to leadership.
- Produce readiness assessments (technology, data, process, people, operations) and support go/no-go decisions with evidence-based insight.
Key Deliverables
- Deployment & Cutover Plans; Integrated Technology Delivery Schedules.
- Delivery Gate Artefacts; RAID Logs; Readiness Reports; Wave/Programme Status Reporting.
What you will need
- Proven experience as a Technology Programme Manager or Senior Delivery Manager within large, complex enterprise transformations.
- Direct Oracle Fusion programme delivery experience, ideally across multiple modules and deployment waves.
- Strong experience working with System Integrators and global delivery models.
- Experience coordinating complex, cross-functional delivery across business and IT teams.
- Demonstrable experience delivering technology change within regulated or high-assurance environments.
- Experience in utilities, energy, infrastructure or asset-intensive sectors.
- Experience with multi-wave, phased enterprise rollouts.
- Familiarity with business change, training and communications integration.
- Experience supporting cutover, hypercare and stabilisation phases
- Strong planning, coordination and orchestration skills
- Excellent stakeholder management across technical and business audiences
- Ability to translate complex technical delivery into clear business impacts
- Strong problem-solving mindset with a pragmatic, delivery-focused approach
- Confident communicator at programme and executive level
