BMS Service/Maintenance Engineer

Location: North East England (Field Based)

Salary: £37,000 - £47,000 per annum (dependent upon experience)

About the Role

As a Service & Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for carrying out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a range of customer sites throughout the North East of England

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Attending customer sites to carry out planned and reactive maintenance
• Diagnosing faults on HVAC plant and building management systems.
• Completing detailed service reports using company templates.
• Identifying failed components and recording part numbers to support remedial quotations.
• Returning to customer sites to carry out approved remedial repairs.
• Delivering excellent customer service whilst working independently or part of a team.
• Travelling throughout the region, including occasional overnight stays when required.
• Working safely and following company health and safety procedures at all times.

Requirements For This Role Will Include:

• Previous experience in a Service or Maintenance Engineer position.
• A good understanding of HVAC plant and systems.
• Experience reading and using Trend BMS software with Trend SET & preferably an understanding of Distech and the gfx software.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• The ability to work independently and manage your own workload as well as working in a team, where necessary.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to carry out simple control panel mods from a control panel wiring diagram.
• Flexibility to travel and work away from home for short periods, when required.
• A full, clean UK driving licence.
