Degree Apprentice - Software Design Engineer
The role will be in the development and testing of real-time embedded software for electronic motor control systems. This will involve collaborating with other members of the software & hardware teams, as well as other departments based around the world.
Role
- Develop a foundational understanding of electrical principles and the functionality of common electric components
- Design and build simple and complex circuits, using computer-aided tools for modelling and testing
- Produce well-structured, maintainable code while applying effective project planning and organisational skills
- Learn to use industry-leading tools and technologies for electronic motor control systems
- Collaborate with engineers, designers and stakeholders to deliver embedded systems that meet all technical and functional requirements
Training
Electrical and Electronic Engineer (degree) Level 6.
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship and subject to a good training record, you could be offered a full-time position as a Software Design Engineer.
