Desktop Support Technician
The SSL Support Technician is responsible for managing all the technology within the EMEA Shopper Science to enable the flawless execution of Collaboration Meetings & Shopper Research
The key responsibilities will be:
- Manage all the AV & IT technology within the facility ensuring high availability and minimal downtime. This requires a high degree of technical knowledge and a wide range of IT & AV skills ranging from operating & maintaining the 5.2m high resolution multi touch blended display wall to running our research audio & video technology.
- Setup & configure IT & AV technology within the facility (Workstations, Servers, Projectors, Audio & Video Encoders & digital signage).
- Provide hands on event & technical support for all collaboration meetings and research session run at the lab
- This includes Meeting setup, Welcome Screens, content preparation, tour setup & facilitation
- Provide meeting set up & support (up to CHLT level) to ensure all technical aspects of internal & external meetings are executed flawlessly.
- Manage the Export of research videos and Biometrics analysis
- Set up & run the full suite of biometric tools (eye tracking, skin biometrics, facial biometrics).
- Manage the Service Now & application packaging processes for all SSL applications \ services.
- Manage the SSL Sharedrive \ Sharepoint \ Teams Content.
- Support & provide user training on the shopper science lab suite of applications.
- Provide technical support to regional Shopper Science Labs
- Manage multiple external vendors who provide both AV & IT hardware & software support & services
