Account Manager/Client Partner - Public Sector
Client Partner - Public Sector (Central Government) is sought for a leading Professional Service Firm. SK Consultancy Solutions are working with a leading global consulting organisation to appoint a Client Partner/Senior Account Lead to support and grow a major UK Public Sector account.
This role sits at the intersection of new business development and strategic account management, with responsibility for driving growth across digital, technology, and transformation services.
You will operate as a trusted senior partner to public sector stakeholders, shaping demand, leading complex pursuits, and expanding long-term client relationships within a regulated environment.
This is a senior, commercially focused role suited to someone with strong public sector networks and experience selling consulting-led technology services.
What You'll Be Doing

Owning and developing senior client relationships across commercial, technology, and business leadership

Acting as the primary account lead for ongoing engagements, ensuring delivery quality and client satisfaction

Building and managing a robust pipeline of opportunities across existing and new workstreams

Leading and coordinating complex bids, tenders, and proposals, working closely with internal delivery teams and external partners

Identifying and shaping opportunities across areas such as digital transformation, cloud platforms, data & analytics, automation, cyber, and application services

Contributing to overall public sector growth strategy and account planning
What We're Looking For

Proven experience in sales, account management, or client partnership roles within the UK Public Sector

Established network across Central Government and/or public security environments

Strong understanding of modern digital and technology-led transformation approaches
- Experience of Agile and/or DDat (Digital, Data, Technologies) advantageous

Demonstrated bid leadership experience, with a hands-on approach to shaping and closing complex opportunities

Ability to build credibility quickly with senior stakeholders and collaborate effectively across matrixed organisations

Familiarity with public sector digital frameworks and operating models
Nice to Have

Experience working with hyperscalers or major technology partners

Exposure to large-scale, multi-year transformation programmes

Background spanning both consulting and technology services
Working Model
Hybrid working model combining client sites, office locations, and home working. This role is not fully remote and will require regular on-site engagement.
Eligibility/Clearance
This role requires candidates to have the ability to obtain UK Security Check (SC) clearance. Essentially this means that applicants must meet UK residency and eligibility requirements (typically including continuous UK residence for the last 5 years). Further checks will apply as part of the onboarding process.
Packages (Depend on experience) £120,000-£130,000 basic salary + Bonus + benefits = £150,000 - £160,000 OTE
