SAP EWM S4 Senior Consultant
Location: Hybrid (UK)
Working Pattern: Hybrid - mix of client site, office, and home (candidates can be based anywhere in the UK)
Clearance: SC eligible (UK residency requirements apply)
Role Overview
We're supporting a major UK-based transformation programme seeking an experienced Senior SAP S/4HANA EWM/WM Consultant to lead warehouse management design and delivery across large-scale SAP initiatives. This role sits within a multi-disciplinary delivery team and focuses on S/4HANA EWM/WM solution architecture, configuration, and advisory across complex enterprise landscapes.
You'll work across project life cycle phases including discovery, design, implementation, upgrades, and post-go-live support, partnering with functional and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable warehouse and logistics execution solutions.
The role
- Lead SAP S/4HANA EWM and WM workstreams across transformation programmes
- Own functional design and delivery of warehouse management solutions
- Translate business requirements into scalable logistics execution designs
- Configure inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse processes
- Design warehouse structures, organisation models, and optimisation strategies
- Support integration with manufacturing, quality, transportation, and external systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional delivery teams across programme phases
- Provide trusted advisory support to stakeholders and business leads
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to capability development
Experience required
- Proven delivery experience across large-scale SAP programmes
- Strong SAP S/4HANA EWM and WM solution design expertise
- Multiple end-to-end implementation life cycle deliveries
- Hands-on configuration across core warehouse management processes
- Experience integrating EWM/WM with broader SAP supply chain modules
- Ability to lead workstreams and engage senior stakeholders
- Excellent communication and client-facing consulting skills
Some Technical Experience required (not all essential)
- Inbound processing, putaway and quality integration
- Internal warehouse processing and physical inventory
- Outbound processing including wave picking and staging
- Production integration and stock movement management
- Integration with 3PL, WCS, or external warehouse systems
- SAP Fiori and mobile warehouse solutions
- Integration with modules such as QM, Manufacturing, TM and related areas
Nice to Have
- Inventory Management or Stock Room Management exposure
- S/4HANA transformation programme experience
- Exposure to automation, mobile, or advanced warehouse technologies
- Experience across complex enterprise SAP landscapes
Working Model is on a Hybrid delivery model with a mix of client site, office, and remote working. Travel expectations will vary depending on project requirements.
Please note, Candidates must be eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC). This typically requires continuous UK residency for the past 5 years and meeting additional vetting criteria.
