Murex Consultant - Expert
We are seeking an experienced Murex Back Office Consultant to support a leading financial institution in the enhancement and implementation of Murex BO, interface, and reporting modules. The successful candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions and ensure smooth project execution from requirements gathering to go-live.
Key Responsibilities

Gather, analyse, and document system requirements for Back Office, interfaces, and reporting projects.

Draft and review design documentation in collaboration with business users.

Develop and execute test cases for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) alongside business teams.

Configure and implement Murex Back Office, interface, and reporting modules.

Execute build-related non-regression test cases using MxTest.

Contribute to the test and go-live sign-off process.

Provide support during the UAT phase, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and effectively.
Required Technical & Functional Skills

Murex Expertise:
-
Strong hands-on experience with Murex Back Office, Reporting, and Onyx/MxTest modules.

Proficiency in configuring dynamic tables, simulation views, trade queries, and trade life cycle processing.

Experience with P&L, market value, and risk figures.

Skilled in DataMart reporting and one-stop processing.

Functional Knowledge:

Solid understanding of financial products including Fixed Income, Money Markets, Interest Rate Swaps, Cross-Currency Swaps, and FX Derivatives.

Proven ability to collaborate effectively with Back Office, Middle Office, and Risk teams.

Experience & Background
-
Minimum of 10 years' experience working with Murex in a banking or financial services environment.

At least 4 years' experience in Back Office implementation.

Minimum 5 years' experience in Reporting implementation and 5 years' experience with interfacing.

At least 4 years' experience using MxTest for non-regression testing.
Education & Soft Skills

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
