Oracle DBA

Oracle Apps DBA (Oracle EBS R12) | Contract | Hybrid

Oracle Apps DBA required for a major enterprise transformation programme.

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Apps DBA to join a large-scale environment supporting critical Oracle E-business Suite (EBS) platforms and Oracle databases. This is a hands-on role focused on administration, performance, stability, patching, upgrades and cloud migration initiatives.

The successful candidate will work across complex production environments, supporting Oracle EBS R12, Oracle databases, Linux/AIX platforms and ongoing cloud transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Administration and support of Oracle EBS R12 environments.
• Database administration, maintenance, upgrades and patching.
• Oracle Apps and Database cloning activities.
• Performance monitoring, tuning and troubleshooting.
• Management of Oracle RAC and high-availability environments.
• RMAN backup and recovery administration.
• Support and administration of Linux and AIX platforms.
• Shell Scripting and automation.
• Environment refreshes and production support activities.
• Support migration programmes to OCI and/or Azure.
• Work with WebLogic, Oracle HTTP Server and wider Oracle technology stack.
• Support disaster recovery testing and Data Guard environments.
• Maintain operational documentation and technical runbooks.

Experience Required

• Minimum 7 years' experience as an Oracle DBA/Oracle Apps DBA.
• Proven experience supporting Oracle EBS R12 in production environments.
• Experience delivering database migrations, upgrades or infrastructure transformation projects.
• Cloud migration experience highly advantageous.
• Oracle certifications beneficial but not essential.
