They are now looking to hire a Sales Development Representative to join the business at the start of an exciting new growth phase. Following significant investment, the company has a clear and ambitious roadmap for expansion over the next two years.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Sales Development Representative (SDR) to play a key role in driving new business growth. This is a hands-on, office-based role focused on outbound prospecting, engaging decision-makers, and booking high-quality discovery meetings for our sales team. You will mentor and support junior members of the SDR team, sharing best practice and helping to develop their skills as the team grows.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working to clear KPIs and will thrive in a structured, performance-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and engage prospective customers via outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn
- Consistently meet or exceed KPIs relating to:
- Number of outbound calls
- Email activity
- Meaningful sales conversations
- Discovery meetings booked
- Qualify prospects effectively to ensure high-quality meetings are passed to the sales team
- Research target accounts and tailor outreach messaging
- Maintain accurate records of activity and conversations within the CRM
- Collaborate closely with Account Executives and Sales Managers to maximise conversion rates
- Continuously refine outreach techniques based on feedback and performance data
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Daily and weekly outbound call targets
- Email and multi-touch outreach volumes
- Number of meaningful conversations with decision-makers
- Discovery meetings booked and attended
- Conversion rates from contact to meeting
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience as an SDR/BDR in a software or SaaS environment
- Strong outbound sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding KPIs
- Confident and professional phone manner
- Excellent written communication skills for email outreach
- Experience using CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce or similar)
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and resilient
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, office-based sales environment
