We’re recruiting a Technical Product Manager to lead integration and digital services within a UK-based financial services organisation.
You’ll sit between the business and technology teams, owning the product roadmap and backlog for integration platforms and APIs. Working closely with engineering teams, architects, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors, you’ll translate business needs into clear technical requirements and drive the delivery of secure, scalable solutions in a regulated environment.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys stakeholder management, technical decision-making, and delivering value in an agile setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for integration and digital services.
- Translate business requirements into user stories and technical deliverables.
- Work closely with engineering teams to design, build, test, and release solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to prioritise work based on value and risk.
- Manage and contribute to relationships with third-party vendors and partners.
- Support testing, defect triage, and quality assurance activities.
- Monitor technical performance, delivery risks, and product quality.
- Champion agile ways of working and continuous improvement.
Key Requirements
- Experience as a Technical Product Manager or Technical Product Owner.
- Strong knowledge of APIs (REST and SOAP), system integration, and cloud platforms.
- Experience working in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, Jira).
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise work in a regulated environment.
- Experience within insurance or financial services is highly desirable.
