Job Title: Solution Lead (Salesforce Developer)

Location: UK Wide (Hybrid)

Salary: Up to £70,000

We’re looking for a talented, passionate, and versatile Solution Lead with a growth mindset and a commitment to technical excellence. As a key member of our agile development community, you’ll build and maintain our Salesforce ecosystem and its integration within our wider technology landscape, while embracing industry best practices and standards. Your collaborative style will help nurture a culture of learning and continuous improvement, and you’ll demonstrate resilience and problem-solving skills when faced with new challenges.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Develop high-quality Salesforce solutions that meet design, coding, performance, and security standards in a fast-paced agile environment.
  • Provide production support through incident investigation, triage, and resolution.
  • Thoroughly test solutions, prioritising the use of automated testing frameworks and techniques.
  • Combine low-code and click-based Salesforce configuration with custom development where appropriate.
  • Create and maintain custom Lightning Web Components, triggers, and scheduled batch jobs.
  • Ensure continuous improvement through code reviews, design reviews, and team retrospectives.
  • Take collective ownership of the platform, ensuring stability, performance, and reliability.
  • Deliver accurate and timely estimates for development work.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues to share knowledge and drive the continuous growth of the development community.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in a Salesforce engineering or development role, with relevant certifications such as Platform Developer I and Salesforce Administrator.
  • Experience across the Salesforce ecosystem, ideally including Financial Services Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of Clean Code principles, Object-Oriented Programming, SOLID principles, Design Patterns, Governor Limits, and Salesforce best practices.
  • A growth mindset and adaptability to meet evolving platform and business needs.
  • Passion for software development, demonstrated through continuous learning, side projects, community involvement, or contribution to open-source initiatives
