SR2 is supporting a leading consulting organisation delivering some of the UK’s most significant defence and national security transformation programmes, and we are looking for Project Management and PMO Specialists to join their growing delivery teams.
These roles sit at the centre of major initiatives shaping the future of defence capability, digital systems, and operational effectiveness across government and national security organisations. You will work within multidisciplinary teams delivering large-scale programmes at the intersection of technology, strategy, and national security.

Key Responsibilities
- Support delivery of complex transformation programmes across multiple workstreams
- Coordinate plans, milestones, dependencies and delivery activities
- Establish and maintain programme governance and reporting frameworks
- Produce reporting packs and maintain RAID logs, decision registers and programme documentation
- Facilitate programme forums, planning sessions and governance meetings
- Track programme performance and identify risks, issues and dependencies
- Support effective communication between delivery teams, leadership and stakeholders
Skills & Experience
Essential
✔ Active SC Clearance
✔ Experience supporting projects or programmes in complex delivery environments
✔ Strong PMO capability including governance, reporting and programme controls
✔ Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
✔ Strong organisational and problem-solving ability
Desirable
➕ Experience within defence, national security or government programmes
➕ Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery environments
➕ Certifications such as PRINCE2, MSP or Agile
