Salary: £60,000 - £70,000

We're working with a growing technology business looking to hire a Mid-Senior DevOps Engineer to join their engineering team. This is an opportunity to take ownership of cloud infrastructure, improve deployment processes and help build a scalable, secure and highly available platform.

Working closely with software engineers, you'll play a key role in driving automation, enhancing developer experience and ensuring infrastructure supports the continued growth of the business.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and evolve AWS cloud infrastructure
• Build, maintain and optimise CI/CD pipelines using GitLab
• Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform
• Support deployment, release and environment management processes
• Monitor platform performance, reliability and security
• Investigate incidents and implement long-term solutions
• Drive automation across engineering workflows
• Support disaster recovery, backup and resilience initiatives
• Champion security best practices across infrastructure and cloud environments

Requirements

• Proven experience in a DevOps, Platform or Infrastructure Engineering role
• Strong experience with AWS in production environments
• Hands-on Terraform experience
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, ideally with GitLab
• Strong Docker and containerisation experience
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools
• Good understanding of infrastructure security, IAM and secrets management
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Exposure to AI-assisted engineering tools
