Engineering Manager

🚀 Engineering Manager (Hands-Off) | Hybrid | Fintech SaaS | £100k 💰🪙

We're partnering with an award-winning Fintech organisation to hire an experienced Engineering manager to lead high-performing software teams delivering enterprise grade SaaS products across global financial markets.

We are looking for someone who is happy to take ownership of key development initiatives and leading a team of engineers to collaborate closely with Product to deliver scalable systems. Strong technical credibility and excellent people leadership skills in a fast paced environment is required.

Responsibilities will involve:

• Leading and developing engineering teams to help deliver enterprise grade SaaS solutions as well as hire and coach engineers to support growth within the team;

• Drive high quality product delivery, with a focus on scalability and security;

• Work closely with technical leads and Product teams to translate strategy into delivery outcomes

What I'm looking for:

• 5+ years hands on technical experience across either Software Engineering, DevOps or Test Engineering with a proven track record building enterprise SaaS platforms;

• Cloud native development experience & experience working within an Agile and DevOps driven environment;

• 2 + years experience leading teams or managing engineers;

• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management skills;

Desirable: An understanding of data-centric or real-time systems.
