About the Role

As our Senior Full Stack Engineer , you’ll work on a modern tech stack (React, Python, AWS, Bedrock) to deliver new features, improve performance, and shape the success of our platform, mobile app, and client-facing websites.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with 6+ years’ experience and strong expertise across both frontend and backend development. You’ll collaborate directly with the founding team and other senior developers while having a genuine impact on product direction.

Your Role:

• Building and maintaining features across frontend (React) and backend (Python/PHP/Flask/FastAPI)
• Designing, developing, and deploying scalable APIs
• Contributing to system architecture and technical strategy
• Writing, testing, and shipping high-quality production code
• Participating in code reviews and improving engineering processes
• Acting as a gatekeeper for production quality
• Working with third-party UX/UI designers and incorporating customer feedback
• Troubleshooting and debugging complex issues

Essential Skills

• 6+ years’ experience in a full stack development role
• Strong proficiency with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
• Solid backend experience with Python and/or PHP
• Database experience (MySQL; Airtable is a bonus)
• Familiarity with AWS (RDS, EC2, S3; Bedrock ideal)
• Git/version control expertise
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork

Must-Haves

• Mobile development experience (React Native / Cordova / Expo)
• Familiarity with AI frameworks (OpenAI, Claude, or AWS Bedrock)
• Apache, Nginx, Linux experience
• UX/UI design knowledge
• Product management experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (Master’s a plus)

Package & Benefits

• Salary : Up to £80,000 (DOE)
• Equity : Options package (approx. £10k value)
• Holidays : 26 days + birthday + work anniversary day off
• Location : Hybrid, Bracknell (2–3 days in office)
