| Microsoft Cloud, Security & DevSecOps Consultancy + SaaS

We are partnering with a high-growth Microsoft-focused cloud and security consultancy to appoint their first senior commercial hire.

The business operates across Azure, DevSecOps, cloud security, platform engineering, AI, and application modernisation, delivering into complex enterprise and regulated environments across the UK private/public sector (this role will ideally focus on private sector although experience in both is welcomed).

Alongside consultancy services, the company has developed a SaaS platform focused on security, governance, and compliance visibility across Azure DevOps environments, creating a unique blend of consulting-led and product-led growth. This is a strategic build role rather than a traditional management position, where you will play a hands on Account Exec role but get to shape the function.

The successful individual will take ownership of the commercial function, leading enterprise sales activity, shaping go-to-market strategy, developing pipeline generation capability, and building long-term Microsoft ecosystem relationships.

The role is highly suited to someone who combines enterprise account executive capability with commercial leadership potential - someone comfortable personally leading complex sales cycles while also helping build a scalable revenue engine.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise sales engagements across cloud, DevSecOps, security, and managed services
  • Build and develop a repeatable go-to-market strategy across consultancy and SaaS offerings
  • Develop pipeline through direct enterprise engagement, Microsoft ecosystem relationships, and partner channels
  • Engage senior stakeholders including CIOs, CISOs, CTOs, Heads of Platform Engineering, and Cloud leadership teams
  • Work closely with founders and technical leadership to shape propositions, messaging, and commercial strategy
  • Build long-term strategic relationships within the Microsoft partner ecosystem
  • Contribute to future sales structure, process, tooling, and hiring strategy
  • Support positioning into regulated and security-conscious industries including financial services, enterprise, and complex private sector organisations

Ideal Background

  • Experience selling Microsoft cloud, security, DevOps, or managed services solutions
  • Strong enterprise sales capability within consultancy, professional services, or technical SaaS environments
  • Track record of winning and growing complex enterprise accounts
  • Experience operating within the Microsoft ecosystem (Azure, Security, DevOps, Modern Work, or Data & AI)
  • Comfortable operating in founder-led, high-growth, and evolving environments
  • Strong commercial ownership mindset with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on execution
