Project Manager – IT Infrastructure Transformation

Bedford | 12-Month Contract | Inside IR35 | Onsite

An organisation working within the defence industry is looking for an IT Infrastructure Project Manager to support a major modernisation and transformation programme across its technology estate.

You’ll be responsible for driving delivery across infrastructure-focused projects including upgrades, migration activity, operational improvement and wider transformation initiatives.

The role requires someone who can bring strong delivery discipline into a technically complex environment while working closely with engineering, IT and operational stakeholders.

Key areas include:

• IT infrastructure delivery
• Project planning and governance
• Risk, dependency and stakeholder management
• Coordination of technical teams and suppliers
• Supporting wider transformation activity

The environment is fast-moving and evolving, so this suits someone comfortable balancing structure with ambiguity.

Strong background in:

• IT infrastructure project delivery
• Enterprise or complex technical environments
• Governance, reporting and planning
• Coordinating multi-disciplinary technical teams

Defence, engineering or regulated industry experience would be advantageous.
