SR2 is partnering with a fast-growing early-stage AI SaaS client that is scaling its commercial team following a significant period of growth over the last 12 months (230% ARR growth!)

This is a Founding Account Executive opportunity within the GTM team. You’ll be joining at a pivotal stage, with the chance to directly influence revenue growth, sales process, account strategy, market positioning, and how the business scales from here.

The company has already proven strong market demand, grown revenue meaningfully in a short period of time, and is now investing in a small number of high-impact commercial hires.

This role is not about stepping into a fully built sales machine. It is about helping build one.

You’ll sell advanced AI SaaS into complex, regulated financial services environments, working with organisations such as banks, fintechs, and other financial services businesses.

What you’ll be doing

  • Own the full sales cycle from pipeline generation through to close
  • Build your own pipeline through targeted outbound, account mapping, referrals, and market insight
  • Sell AI SaaS into complex, regulated financial services customers
  • Engage with senior stakeholders across operations, product, technology, security, change, and business teams
  • Work with C-suite and senior decision-makers through discovery, demos, pilots, and commercial conversations
  • Navigate multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving technical validation, security review, change management, procurement, and business case development
  • Lead target account planning, stakeholder mapping, qualification, and deal strategy
  • Deliver tailored presentations, product demos, and clear points of view around AI, automation, and customer operations
  • Partner closely with GTM leadership, product, engineering, and delivery teams to shape customer strategy
  • Help define and improve the sales process as the business scales
  • Use modern sales tools and AI to improve prospecting, research, messaging, and deal execution

What you’ll bring

  • Proven experience in a quota-carrying Account Executive, Senior AE, Enterprise AE, Strategic AE, or similar new-business sales role
  • Strong background in B2B SaaS, software, AI, automation, data, fintech, regtech, customer operations, or related technology markets
  • Experience selling into financial services, banking, fintech, lending, insurance, payments, or regulated enterprise environments would be highly relevant
  • A track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
  • Experience with six-figure ACV deals, with exposure to larger enterprise opportunities a bonus
  • Confidence running discovery, building business cases, managing pilots or POCs, and progressing deals through procurement and security review
  • Strong outbound and self-sourcing capability; you should be comfortable creating your own pipeline
  • Commercial curiosity and the ability to build a strong point of view on customer problems, product value, and market timing
  • Technical credibility with senior product, engineering, security, or technology stakeholders
  • Clear, concise communication in writing and in person
  • A proactive, resilient, entrepreneurial mindset
  • Motivation to join a founding-stage GTM team where there is genuine room to shape, build, and make a visible impact
