Senior Integration Architect – Pharmaceutical

£625 per day | Outside IR35

10 days across 2–3 weeks | Fully remote

We are looking for a Senior Integration Architect to complete a short assessment for a pharmaceutical organisation.

The client needs to determine whether its current point-to-point API integrations remain suitable or whether it requires a shared integration layer or hybrid approach.

You will:

• Review the existing applications, APIs, interfaces and data flows.
• Identify critical dependencies, operational risks and manual workarounds.
• Assess scalability, resilience, maintainability and supportability.
• Consider pharmaceutical data, quality and regulatory requirements.
• Compare point-to-point, integration-platform and hybrid options.
• Recommend a target approach, priorities and practical roadmap.
• Present the findings to senior stakeholders.

Essential experience:

• Senior integration architecture or consulting experience.
• Previous pharmaceutical-sector experience.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, middleware and integration platforms.
• Experience assessing current-state and target-state integration architecture.
• Understanding of regulated data, traceability and audit requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive-level communication skills.

The consultant must provide an independent, technology-neutral recommendation rather than assume that a new integration platform is required.
