Senior Software Engineer
Senior Full Stack Engineer | Python | React | London | £100,000-£150,000
Location: London (hybrid)
Salary: £100k to £150k + equity
Most AI companies obsess over models. This team is going after the harder, more interesting problem, making AI actually work in the real world.
They’re building the systems around AI that businesses can rely on day to day. Software that sits right inside customer operations, handling huge volumes of data, plugging into external systems, and powering workflows that can’t afford to break.
That means solving for reliability, scale, and predictability, not just clever demos.
The team is small, ambitious, and moves fast. Engineers are close to users, ship constantly, and own what they build end to end.
If you like the idea of building AI that actually matters in production, not just in theory, this is that kind of environment.
Tech stack
• Python (FastAPI / Flask / Django)
• React and TypeScript
• AWS / GCP
• Infrastructure as code and modern deployment tooling
What engineers work on
• Designing and evolving backend services and APIs that power the platform
• Building user facing interfaces used by customers and internal teams
• Integrating external services and AI capabilities into production workflows
• Investigating production incidents and improving system robustness
• Working closely with product and operations to understand real customer problems
• Contributing to system design and engineering practices as the platform grows
What tends to work well here
• Engineers who enjoy building and shipping real products
• Strong problem solving instincts and pragmatic system design
• Comfort owning features end to end from design through deployment
• Experience building production systems with Python and modern web technologies
• Curiosity across the stack, even if your experience leans backend or frontend
• An interest in solving practical problems rather than chasing theoretical perfection
• The culture values engineers who simplify systems, focus on outcomes, and take responsibility for what they build.
What you can expect
• Meaningful equity in a growing company
• A London based team with regular in person collaboration
• Real ownership of systems and product decisions
• A product used daily inside operational workflows
• Competitive benefits and a supportive engineering environment
This role tends to suit engineers who want to work close to real users, build systems that matter, and see their work used immediately!
