Location: Remote based (occasional visits to client sites)

Salary: £60k-£70K + benefits & pension

SR2 is working with a very exciting consultancy who are small but mighty! They are a high-calibre technical consultancy who build things that matter, delivering enterprise solutions across regulated industries, in complex consulting environments. We are helping them to hire a Software Engineer who can build secure, scalable RegTech solutions for enterprise clients.

The Role

  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services in .NET 8 (C#, ASP.NET Core, EF).
  • Develop modern, responsive UIs using Angular 18+ (Signals, standalone components).
  • Collaborate directly with clients to shape and refine technical solutions.
  • Implement secure development practices (authentication, authorisation, data protection).
  • Own features end-to-end, from concept through to Agile delivery and deployment.

Requirements:

  • Expert in .NET 8+, C#, ASP.NET Core and Entity Framework experience.
  • Familiarity with microservices, micro frontends and cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
  • Experience with unit and integration testing (xUnit, Jasmine, Karma).
  • Front-end experience with Angular / TypeScript / JavaScript is desirable
  • Background in RegTech or consulting environments preferred.
  • Strong communicator, confident working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Right to work in the UK
