Are you a Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in Python and AWS? Are you looking for your next career step in a close-knit, likeminded team where there is significant scope for progression and development?

We are working with a specialist technology firm at the forefront AI and machine learning. They're looking for their next high-impact high who will play a key part in building the software around their AI products that are driving innovation forward across sectors.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate in a cross-functional team to design, build, and improve scalable digital systems
• Contribute to architectural decisions and full software development lifecycle
• Develop secure, cloud-based applications using modern backend technologies, mostly Python
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and enhance deployment reliability and efficiency
• Champion agile practices and foster a collaborative, learning-focused culture
• Translate business needs into technical solutions and lead on incident resolution

Requirements for Success:

• Strong background in Python-based software development, including experience with data science libraries and cloud infrastructure (AWS) as code
• Skilled in DevOps and MLOps practices, containerisation (e.g. Docker), and automation workflows
• Proficient in collaborative development using Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile (Scrum) methodologies
• Familiar with Linux systems, command line tools, and scripting for deployment and maintenance
• Holds a degree in computer science (or similar) and has experience delivering complex solutions in technical environments
