Infrastructure Analyst
IT Infrastructure Analyst | Aerospace | Salisbury | £45k + £7k
Are you an experienced IT Infrastructure Analyst looking for a challenging role supporting complex, predominantly on-premise systems, including air-gapped networks? Join a rapidly growing specialist in uncrewed aircraft technology and contribute to the deployment and support of essential IT services for the aerospace industry.
You will work within the IT team, reporting to the Infrastructure Lead, to maintain and enhance systems required for delivery.
As an IT Infrastructure Analyst, you will:
- Deploy and Support Infrastructure: Provide deployment and support for servers, storage, applications, and network technologies (WAN/LAN/Firewalls).
- Manage Critical Systems: Implement and support server-based business applications (e.g., CAD, document management, Jira, Gitlab) and manage virtualization and containerization (Hyper-V and Docker).
- Ensure Compliance: Work as part of the IT team to ensure compliance with cyber security policies and external accreditations, including CE+ and Secure by Design.
- Maintain Operations: Undertake regular tasks such as backups, patching, DR testing, and capacity management.
What We're Looking For
- Networking Expertise: Strong experience supporting and deploying WAN/LAN networks, switches, firewalls, and VPN.
- Server/OS Proficiency: Experience supporting and deploying Windows and Linux servers and storage technologies.
- Virtualization/Containers: Experience of virtualization and containerization, specifically Hyper-V and Docker.
- Security Readiness: Must be a British Citizen or have existing right to work in the UK, with the ability to hold Security Clearance (5 years residence in the UK).

This is a permanent opportunity with a salary range of £35,000 - £45,000.
