Senior Business Analyst – 12 Months – Up to £650pd (Inside IR35)

Hybrid, 3 days/week in Bedford

Overview

We're recruiting two Business Analysts (Senior & Mid-level ... Mid-level is up to £500pd ) to support a large-scale digital transformation across a Defence engineering/manufacturing environment. These roles will help build "the plan before the plan" - shaping strategy, collating information and establishing the transformation blueprint.

The Role

Working with operational, engineering and technical teams, you'll map current-state processes, identify gaps and support the development of a multi-year transformation strategy across a highly secure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead discovery across engineering, manufacturing and operational functions
• Build transformation roadmaps and strategic recommendations
• Analyse complex IT + OT landscape interactions
• Support requirements gathering for classified and unclassified systems
• Work directly with Technical Architects and senior stakeholders
• Produce high-quality documentation, plans and business cases

Essential Experience:

• Prior experience in Defence, Aerospace or National Security
• Background in digital transformation programmes
• Strong ability to turn complexity into structured plans
• Engineering/manufacturing experience ideal (not essential)
• Excellent stakeholder communication in a secure environment

Contract Details:

• Senior BA: up to £650pd / BA: up to £500pd
• Inside IR35
• 12 months
• Hybrid – 3 days per week onsite in Bedford
• Must be eligible for UK Security Clearance
