The role requires both hands-on architectural input and the ability to influence direction, challenge assumptions, and manage technical risk throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
- Produce and evolve solution designs that balance risk, complexity, and business impact.
- Ensure architectural consistency and quality as requirements and constraints change.
- Refine designs iteratively using delivery feedback and stakeholder input.
- Shape and support technical roadmaps that align with broader strategic objectives.
- Challenge existing requirements and propose alternative approaches where appropriate.
- Apply architectural patterns, standards, and constraints pragmatically.
- Make and guide design decisions across solutions with shared dependencies.
- Proactively identify and mitigate architectural risks spanning multiple teams or systems.
- Operate within established governance frameworks, contributing to assurance activities.
- Support the continuous improvement of architectural governance and best practice.
- Proven background in Solutions Architecture within complex or regulated environments.
- Strong design decision-making skills across distributed systems and platforms.
- Experience working with governance, assurance, and risk management processes.
- Ability to influence stakeholders across engineering, delivery, and leadership teams.
- Active SC Clearance is essential.
