A consultancy delivering complex digital solutions across the public sector is looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of modern, scalable commerce platforms. This role will play a key part in shaping headless eCommerce architectures using Microsoft Dynamics, with a strong focus on Order Management and Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations integration. You'll work closely with technical teams and public sector stakeholders to deliver robust, secure solutions that support large-scale order management and digital service delivery.

The Role

As the Dynamics Solution Architect, you will provide architectural leadership across the full life cycle of a modern eCommerce implementation. You will design headless commerce architectures, integrate Dynamics Order Management with wider enterprise platforms, and guide development teams through delivery in an Agile environment.

Working with both internal teams and public sector clients, you will translate complex requirements into scalable technical solutions, ensuring platforms are secure, performant and aligned with modern cloud architecture patterns.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement headless eCommerce architectures built around Microsoft Dynamics.

• Lead the configuration and optimisation of Microsoft Dynamics Order Management capabilities.

• Architect integrations between Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and external platforms.

• Design and implement API-driven integrations and automated data flows across cloud services.

• Provide technical leadership to delivery teams working within Agile development frameworks.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.

• Support the development of Power Apps and Power Platform solutions to extend eCommerce functionality.

Essential

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics, particularly Dynamics Order Management.

• Proven track record designing and delivering eCommerce solutions using Dynamics.

• Experience integrating Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) within wider digital ecosystems.

• Strong understanding of D365 architecture including Dataverse, Common Data Model and API integrations.

• Experience designing cloud-based integrations across multiple systems or platforms.

• Ability to work closely with clients and delivery teams to shape scalable architectural solutions.

Desirable

• Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps/Power Automate).

• Knowledge of Dynamics security models, particularly within regulated environments.

• Experience delivering solutions within public sector organisations.

• Strong experience leading delivery within Agile/scaled Agile environments.

• Active SC clearance or eligibility to obtain it.
