System Support Analyst
After a stunning long weekend in the south of Devon I am back and fully refreshed! With that being said I have a new role for System Support Analyst in Gloucestershire/Cotswolds that could be a great next step for someone eager!
We are currently working with an established organisation within the financial services sector, supporting customers through a range of specialist financial products and services. They're looking for a System Support Analyst to join their IT team and play a key role in supporting their core business systems and ensuring everything runs smoothly within a production environment.
Location: Gloucestershire/Cotswolds
Hybrid: 2 days per week in the office
Monday-Friday | 8:45am-5pm
£35,000 salary + benefits
What will you be doing?
Providing production support across core line of business systems, managing incidents, service requests and operational issues through to resolution.
Monitoring system performance, application health, data processing and integrations to identify issues early and minimise business disruption.
Investigating recurring incidents and system issues, carrying out root-cause analysis and helping drive permanent fixes and improvements.
Acting as a subject matter expert for assigned systems, developing a strong understanding of functionality, configuration, data flows and dependencies.
Supporting change and release activity, including testing, validating production changes and maintaining technical documentation.
Working closely with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve issues and improve system performance.
What we are looking for?
2+ years' experience in a similar system support, application support or technical support role.
Experience working within financial services would be highly desirable but not essential.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
A methodical, organised approach with excellent attention to detail.
