UX Lead - EdTech/Product Trio/Continuous Discovery

Location: Remote first, with some travel to Manchester or London
We are supporting a consultancy partner on a product discovery engagement focused on digital learning experiences for primary-aged children.
This role requires a senior UX/Design Lead with experience working in a Product Trio setup, alongside Product and Technical Leads. You will help shape, prototype, test and validate ideas in a highly agile, continuous discovery environment.
The work is focused on designing engaging, personalised and effective learning experiences for children aged 6-11, so previous experience in EdTech, education products, or learning-focused digital products is essential.
Key Responsibilities- Lead UX and design activity within a Product Trio model
- Work closely with Product and Technical Leads to shape discovery priorities
- Prototype and test concepts quickly to validate ideas
- Design engaging learning experiences for primary school-aged children
- Translate user insight and discovery findings into clear design direction
- Collaborate with product, editorial, technical and research colleagues
- Support continuous discovery and rapid movement towards value
Essential Experience
- Proven experience as a UX Lead, Product Designer or Design Lead
- Experience working in a Product Trio model
- Strong continuous discovery experience
- EdTech, education product or learning experience design background
- Experience designing for primary school-aged children, ideally ages 6-11
- Experience designing personalised, engaging or gamified digital experiences
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, multidisciplinary product teams
- T-shaped design leadership rather than a narrow UX-only discipline focus
