  • Conduct stakeholder engagement sessions to gather and validate business requirements, user stories, and success criteria.
  • Translate business needs into clear, prioritised requirements to support demand refinement and effective delivery by the Data Team.
  • Perform statistical analysis and data visualisation to uncover insights that inform business decisions and product direction.
  • Collaborate with product and service teams to embed data-driven thinking into decision-making processes.
  • Create and maintain artefacts such as process maps, data dictionaries, and business requirement documents (BRDs).
  • Identify gaps in current data usage and propose enhancements to improve data quality, accessibility, and relevance.
  • Present findings and recommendations in clear, structured formats for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Significant experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within data-focused programmes or teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills, with the ability to translate complex needs into actionable requirements.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualisation tools (e.g. SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of data lifecycle management and its application to business needs.
  • Ability to produce clear documentation (BRDs, process maps, data dictionaries) and maintain artefacts over time.
  • Experience working in agile or hybrid delivery environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor outputs to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with performance measurement, KPIs, and benefits realisation.
