Digital Records Remediation Lead - Healthcare
Lead the strategic remediation of a large digital records backlog ("digital heap"), bringing together information and records management expertise with senior stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy and delivery approach for digital records remediation
- Provide subject-matter expertise across information and records management
- Assess and guide decisions on records retention, remediation and deletion
- Engage with senior stakeholders, including SRO and executive-level forums
- Translate complex records-management issues into clear options, risks and recommendations
- Work with technical and operational teams to ensure remediation activity is practical and deliverable
- Support programme and civil-service teams with the direction and capacity needed to progress work
Essential experience
- Senior experience leading digital records remediation, legacy records clean-up or similar work in the public sector
- Strong expertise in information and records management
- Experience working within government, an agency or a similarly regulated public-sector environment
- Credibility operating with senior leaders and presenting complex decisions to executive-level forums
- Experience balancing governance, risk, operational delivery and technical constraints
Desirable experience
- Healthcare or health-agency experience
- Experience with EDRMS, SharePoint or similar records-management environments
- Experience working with large, complex digital records estates
- Active SC clearance, or eligibility to obtain it
