IT Manager

IT Manager | Azure | O365 | Cloud-First | Contract - Outside IR35 | Bristol-based SR2 is working with a long-term client undergoing a strategic transformation towards a cloud-first model. We’re looking for an IT Manager to act as the senior technical point of contact, guiding and supporting a team of junior engineers while ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day IT operations.A hands-on role for someone who loves tackling challenges, supporting others, and keeping things running smoothly.Key Responsibilities:

• Improve the company’s Azure and Intune environments, applying best practices and bringing order to existing setups
• Establish and enforce clear IT processes (onboarding, access, change, and incident management) to create structure and consistency
• Act as the senior technical escalation point across Azure, Intune, O365, and wider infrastructure
• Mentor and support junior engineers, ensuring they grow in capability and follow agreed processes
• Lead environment clean-up and optimisation projects, driving stability, security, and efficiency in cloud operations
• Ensure IT operations run securely, reliably, and in line with business needs

• Outside IR35
• Rate: Competitive
• Duration: 3 months initial (extensions likely)
• Location: 3 days on-site (Bristol-based)

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure, O365, and core networking principles
• Proven track record in IT Management roles 
• Comfortable owning escalations and guiding more junior engineers
