Senior Full Stack Engineer - React & Python/PHP

Bracknell (Hybrid - 2 days/week) • Up to £80,000 + Equity

A fully-funded AI start-up building an intelligent lifestyle assistant platform already used by clients such as McKinsey, PwC and Clifford Chance is growing its engineering team. They are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to help shape the platform, mobile app and client sites as they scale.

The role

• Build and maintain features across React frontend and backend APIs (Python or similar).
• Collaborate with the founder, product and design teams on new features.
• Influence architecture and technical strategy.
• Ensure reliability and performance in production.
• Lead code reviews, improve processes and mentor juniors.

Skills & experience

• 5+ years’ full stack development experience.
• Strong React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Backend API development (Python preferred, Node considered).
• Cloud deployment (AWS or similar) and database knowledge (MySQL).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Desirable: experience with AI APIs (OpenAI, Claude, AWS Bedrock), React Native/mobile, Linux, or UX/product skills.
