SR2 are excited to be partnering with a leading technology organisation in Bristol as they continue to grow their engineering function. They're looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join an established Agile product team, building modern software that's used at scale and making a real impact.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business with a strong engineering culture, where you'll work with modern technologies, contribute to technical decisions and collaborate with talented Product, Design and Engineering teams. The Role
As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you'll work across the full software development lifecycle, building new features, improving existing products and delivering reliable, scalable applications.
Working in a cross functional Agile team, you'll be encouraged to take ownership, share ideas and continuously improve the way software is delivered.
You'll be:
- Building full stack applications using Java, Spring Boot and React
- Developing scalable APIs and microservices
- Writing clean, maintainable code with a strong focus on testing and quality
- Working with CI/CD pipelines and cloud technologies
- Collaborating closely with Product Managers, Designers and Engineers
- Using AI tools to improve development, testing and automation
About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems and building high quality software.
You'll have experience with:
- Java and Spring Boot
- React
- Building REST APIs and scalable applications
- CI/CD and modern software engineering practices
- Cloud platforms such as AWS
- PostgreSQL or similar databases
Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Kafka or other messaging technologies would be a bonus.
Most importantly, you'll enjoy working as part of a collaborative team, take pride in writing great software and be keen to continue learning and developing your skills.
