They’re scaling fast and need a Technical Lead to guide the evolution of their core platform while remaining embedded in day-to-day development.You’ll be working in a small, collaborative team of engineers who care about writing elegant, efficient code and building products that genuinely help people. This is a chance to stay close to the codebase while influencing architecture, mentoring others and driving best practices across the stack.What you’ll be doing
- Designing and developing new features and backend services using Python with Flask, FastAPI or Django
- Collaborating closely with frontend engineers working in React or Vue to build seamless, user-first experiences
- Owning infrastructure decisions across AWS, Terraform and Docker
- Setting the standard for clean, scalable code and modern engineering principles
- Supporting junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Contributing to CI/CD pipelines and continuous improvement of development workflows
- Minimum 5+ years’ commercial experience in Python engineering
- Proven ability to lead technically by example while remaining hands-on in delivery
- Strong background in cloud (AWS) and infrastructure as code (Terraform)
- Solid understanding of SQL and database design
- Experience with modern frontend stacks and API design
- Enthusiasm for mentoring, collaboration and delivering software with impact
