User Researcher - SC Cleared Data Outside IR35 Remote

User Researcher – SC Cleared | Data Projects | Outside IR35 | Remote | £450/day We’re hiring a contract User Researcher to support a public sector consultancy client on a data-driven project within central government.This role requires active SC Clearance and experience working with data-focused multidisciplinary teams. You’ll be responsible for planning and conducting user research across a complex service landscape, feeding into design and development of tools and services that help drive better outcomes through data.Contract Details:

• Rate: £450/day (Outside IR35)
• Location: Remote, mainly with occasional London (UK-based only)
• Start: ASAP
• Length: Initially until end of January (with potential extension)

Key Requirements:

• Current SC Clearance (essential)
• Experience working in central government or wider public sector
• Strong understanding of GDS service standards and UCD principles
• Hands-on experience conducting qualitative and quantitative user research
• Confidence working with data teams – understanding data workflows, pipelines, analytics or visualisation tools is a plus
• Able to work within Agile multidisciplinary teams (product, design, data, dev)
• Comfortable leading user research through discovery and alpha phases
