A unique opportunity has arisen for an Investment Associate to join a dynamic, agile team dedicated to connecting private investors with high-growth, early-stage technology companies. This role is ideal for someone passionate about driving innovation and investment in the UK economy through strategic partnerships and venture development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research private investment trends and conduct market analysis
• Prepare investor briefings and support relationship management
• Analyse internal and external investment opportunities
• Support due diligence and investment committee reporting
• Assess opportunities using innovation tools and recommend processes for tracking key metrics

About You:

• Degree or Master’s (or equivalent) in a Scientific/Engineering or Business-related discipline (e.g., Marketing, Finance, Economics)
• Significant experience in strategic marketing, finance, or investment analysis roles
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience investing in early-stage technology companies
• Proven ability to synthesise complex data into clear business proposals
• Collaborative team player with strong communication skills
• Advanced Excel and MS Office 365 skills

Desirable:

• Experience with venture capital funds, family offices, or HNWs
• Background in innovation, research, or R&D environments
• Familiarity with the UK innovation ecosystem and early-stage investors
• Skills in data automation (e.g., Excel VBA, Python, Microsoft Flow)
