Contract Web Developer (CMS Migration & Full-Stack)

3-Month Contract | Inside IR35 | Up to £500/day Hybrid: 1 Day per Week Onsite in Edinburgh Start: ASAP

We're looking for a Full-Stack Web Developer to lead a major WordPress Statamic migration. You'll drive CMS modernisation, improve infrastructure, and support ongoing feature development across a high-traffic digital platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the migration of WordPress (ACF, CPTs) into Statamic (Laravel).
  • Build/optimise export scripts and map ACF fields into Statamic YAML.
  • Modernise the codebase using Docker and support deployments across Bitbucket/GitLab/AWS.
  • Fix metadata, Open Graph and other technical SEO issues.
  • Enhance site functionality, including the Audio Resource Hub.
  • Handle plugin conflicts, admin queries, and web-related Jira tickets.
Essential Skills
  • Statamic + Laravel
  • Strong WordPress/ACF/CPT experience
  • Docker + AWS deployment
  • PHP, JavaScript, HTML/CSS
  • Technical SEO + metadata debugging
  • Integrations: Algolia, WooCommerce, Gravity Forms (or similar)
