An established independent retailer in Harlow is growing quickly and is looking for a Paid Media Specialist to take charge of its performance marketing. This is a genuine in-house role. There are no competing client accounts and no queue for your attention. The paid activity is yours to plan, manage and report on.

You will lead performance across Google and Meta, working within a marketing team that has real ambition and the budget to back it. A specialist agency sits alongside you to handle campaign build and day-to-day management, which means your focus stays on strategy, optimisation and the reporting that guides what the business does next.

What the role involves

Your core focus is planning, running and improving paid campaigns across Google and Meta. Alongside that you will:

• Interpret campaign data and turn it into clear, well judged decisions
• Produce proposals and reporting that shape the wider marketing plan
• Keep ahead of platform changes and shifts in the digital landscape
• Work closely with colleagues who will genuinely act on your recommendations

What you will bring

We are looking for someone ready to contribute early, with:

• Hands-on experience in Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager
• A strong working knowledge of GA4 and Google Search Console
• Confidence turning performance data into clear reporting and recommendations, whether in GA4, Looker Studio or Excel
• Careful, precise written communication
• The ability to keep several campaigns on track at once without detail slipping

Retail marketing experience is welcome but not essential. If you have run paid media well elsewhere and can pick up a new sector quickly, we would still like to hear from you.
