SSQ is working with an international technology group who are establishing a new London-based software business.

To support this growth, they seek a highly adaptable and proactive Company Secretary & Office Manager to join the team in a broad, standalone role. You’ll play a key part in shaping the London operation from day one covering a mix of governance, legal admin, office management, and light finance support.

This is a unique opportunity to work with a global company in the early stages of its UK expansion. You’ll work closely with international leadership and external vendors, with scope to evolve the role as the business grows.

What we are looking for

  • Experience in company secretarial, legal admin, or governance roles in the UK
  • Understanding of UK corporate law and Companies House compliance
  • Experience in providing board support and minuting
  • Highly organised, self-driven, and comfortable working independently in a start-up-like setting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail

Nice to Have

  • ICSA/CG qualified or part-qualified
  • Prior experience in a holding company, investment group, or similar environment
  • Bookkeeping experience or financial administration knowledge
  • Exposure to contract review or basic legal tasks
