The Role As a SAP Master Data Solution Architect, you will play a key role in a large-scale SAP transformation programme. You will lead the end-to-end design and architecture of SAP Master Data solutions across greenfield implementation, rollout, enhancement, and steady-state operations on SAP with RISE.
You will shape the master data architecture required to support SAP standard functionality across the retail landscape and work closely with functional, technical, and business teams to ensure the solution aligns with SAP best practices, supports SIT, UAT, and performance testing phases, and is ready for deployment.
Your responsibilities:
- Lead the design and architecture of SAP Master Data solutions in a greenfield S/4HANA environment
- Define conceptual, logical, and physical data models for master data
- Ensure alignment with SAP best practices and standard functionality across retail processes
- Collaborate with functional, technical, and business teams throughout the programme lifecycle
- Support migration, conversion, SIT, UAT, performance testing, and go-live activities
- Establish robust Master Data governance frameworks
- Drive data quality and consistency across Finance, Supply Chain, and related domains
Your Profile
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
- Proven experience as an SAP Master Data Solution Architect
- In-depth understanding of SAP ERP, SAP ECC, and SAP S/4HANA, including migration and conversion methodologies
- Strong experience in Master Data Management (MDM) and governance with a track record of implementing high-quality data solutions
- Proficiency in designing conceptual, logical, and physical data models and defining end-to-end master data architecture
- Strong understanding of core business processes across Finance, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing
Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:
- Retail industry experience
- Exposure to SAP RISE delivery model
- Experience in large-scale transformation programmes with multiple go-lives
