IT & Systems Analyst

We are excited to be partnering this impressive, recognisable brand in their hunt for a proactive and customer focused IT specialist. This role will form a key member of the team, both in the short and (likely) long term and will provide a genuine opportunity for the successful candidate to continue their IT career both practically, and commercially, taking ownership of their role.

A wonderful working environment with a warm and friendly culture, the successful candidate will join a small IT and Tech solutions team, reporting directly into a friendly and development minded IT Manager, assisting and contributing to the effective running of all internal systems, infrastructure, peripherals and hardware.

An opportunity for a real all-rounder to build further knowledge, the intention of the client is to give autonomy to the candidate, seeing them take on more responsibility within the business over time, hopefully resulting in a permanent role during the FTC contract. It is essential that candidates have extensive first and second line experience, ideally in an in-house capacity to be considered, but also a further interest in general tech - and how businesses can become more efficient as a result of it.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Troubleshoot and support all users with varied hardware and software queries.
• Manage all upgrades and infrastructure maintenance (including backups).
• Support company-wide Mobile device technology and internal telephony.
• Support the company network and server based queries as required.
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders internally but also site based colleagues where required.

This role will see the successful candidate working on some really exciting projects should they bring the proactivity we're seeking, in a seriously commercial and dynamic business environment, where Directors and Execs are all highly visible. It is a multi-site business and therefore some travel may be required from time to time.

Seeing the helpdesk elements of the role with a full on Customer Service approach is essential, with speed of response, attention to detail and warm communications being of paramount importance. A rarely available role, where experience is needed, but character and comms styles are arguably more important; for this business it's always far more about the culture fit, the values and the devotion of their employees!
